Legislation - rights and obligations
The Grundordnung (University Constitution), in which the foundations of the university are regulated with regard to, among other things, its legal status and autonomy, applies across all the following provisions of the university.
The enrolment regulations regard your entire time as a student at Leipzig University.
The study programme regulations for the individual subjects specify the basic conditions for study in accordance with the regulations. These conditions are supplemented by the legal terms of the pertinent examination regulations. Using the schedules of study programmes and module descriptions, students can plan their studies and draw up timetables for each semester.
How to obtain a further academic degree is formally set out in the graduate, doctoral and assistant professor regulations.
The Official Bulletin provides a central way of finding the information in binding legal documents and gives warning of any changes.
