Second degree programme
A second degree programme can only be taken up after acquiring a university degree and should lead to an additional degree.
You can therefore only apply for a second study programme if you have already obtained a degree from a German university (Art. 13 Enrolment regulations Leipzig University).
Qualifications acquired at a vocational academy and predecessor institutions of the universities of applied science (e.g. engineering colleges) do not count. For study programmes with restricted admission, a detailed reason for wishing to take the programme must be submitted along with the application.
