Programme description
In particular, this master programme aims to enable students to grasp theories and concepts, structural patterns and interactive systems in economic and social geography, together with space-relevant networks and interactions in different dimensions, and to enable them to analyse the appropriate development processes. A special emphasis is communication of the ability to apply theory-based knowledge to application-oriented issues and problems. The foci of the programme are structures and development of municipal areas from a general geographic perspective, and cities and regions in Central and Eastern Europe from a regional geographic perspective.
