Programme description
The bachelor programme comprises an obligatory section of 120 credits (incl. bachelor’s dissertation) from the fields of economic and management science and business education and management training. In addition there is a selected compulsory section giving 30 credits from the major foci of chemistry, German, German as a foreign language, English, evangelical religion, history, computer science or mathematics. A further 30 credits are gained from the vocational qualifications. The bachelor programme provides the specialist and methodical qualifications for a subsequent master programme in business education and management training. This four-semester master programme requires applicants to hold an above-average university bachelor programme in a related subject, e.g. business education and management training or management science with a business education focus. The aim of the programme is to enable students to analyse complex business education problems in theory and practice, using scientific methods and based on increased specific knowledge and ability, and to work out solutions to these problems. The master degree qualifies graduates for a traineeship at vocational schools.
