Faculty of Theology
The Faculty of Theology has existed as long as the university itself. Like every faculty of theology it is characterised by great internal diversity: the subdisciplines constitute an internal unit, yet their issues branch out in different directions from a central point. This is a real challenge for students to think encyclopaedically. The thematic and methodical range of the theological subdisciplines is conveyed through overview lectures. Thematic major foci, often closely linked to the research interests of the tutors, are worked on in seminars. For young academics, there are colloquia for doctoral candidates in addition to individual supervision.
